Rules for working on scaffolding

Training is required before you can build or work on scaffolding higher than two metres. When working on scaffolding, it is mandatory to use an approved fall protection harness. Don't forget to choose a harness with a double fall arrest line or a fall arrest block with scaffolding hooks. Always attach the hooks to an approved anchorage point as high up as possible to minimise the height of the fall. Helmets and safety shoes are also mandatory.

It is also important to have a well thought-out emergency plan in place, and staff who can respond quickly in the event of an accident. Fall protection training

In addition to using the right fall protection equipment, it is also important that everyone working on scaffolding has undergone fall protection training. This is required to ensure that the equipment is used in a safe and secure manner. We offer training through our parent company ProAccess in Northern Europe's premier training centre.
