H2: Buy davit arms, wall brackets and floor brackets from Personal Fall Protection
Davits are used as a safe and flexible solution for fall protection, access and rescue in environments where a stable anchor point is required. They are commonly used when working in confined spaces, such as wells, tanks, shafts, silos, pumping stations and other locations where personnel need to be lowered into the space, work safely and be rescued quickly in the event of an emergency.
When work is carried out in confined spaces, personal fall protection equipment alone is rarely sufficient. A well-thought-out solution for access, evacuation and rescue is also required. With the right davit, work can be planned more safely, whilst rescue operations become faster and more controlled should anything happen.
At Personligt Fallskydd, you can buy davits and other equipment for working safely in confined spaces and other challenging environments. We offer professional products from leading manufacturers and help you find the right solution based on your workplace’s needs, the layout of the space and the risks involved.
Davits are available for various types of installation and use. Some systems are portable, whilst others are mounted more permanently on a fixed base. The most suitable solution depends on how often the equipment will be used, where it will be positioned, and whether it is primarily intended for fall protection, lowering, hoisting or rescue. To ensure a safe overall system, you also need to consider anchorage, compatible rescue equipment, the user’s harness, working procedures and how any evacuation is to be carried out.
