Choice of fall arrest blocks
When choosing a fall arrest block, the following questions should be asked.
Shells blocked;
- used in corrosive environments?
- used indoors or outdoors?
- be fixed or mobile?
- used in case of risk of falling over a sharp edge?
- have rescue function?
Wire blocks available in lengths of 2.5 - 65 metres and in several different designs. Can be used from indoor environments to fixed installation in extreme outdoor environments. There are also blocks with rescue function and for sharp edges.
The webbing blocks are available in lengths of 2 - 15 metres and are lighter than the wire blocks. Can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The blocks are available with a variety of fixing hooks and are also available for falling over edges and hot work.
Accessories are available to change the use of the blocks.
