Rope clamps for maximum safety

We have rope clamps in various designs and models with many uses. They can be used for example:

  • rope climbing
  • self-securing on fixed rope
  • rigging of lift systems
  • rescue.

Whichever model you choose, it will help you climb the rope more easily. Rope clamps are used as fall protection in rope access to maximise safety.

Petzl lanyards

A descender is designed to help regulate friction and control descent on a fixed rope. They enable a worker to position themselves anywhere on the rope. Some descenders can also be used as safety devices.

At Personligt Fallskydd we offer both automatic locking and self-braking firing devices. We also have fire extinguishers with anti-panic function and with handles that go 270 degrees, which makes it very ergonomic to use when firing.

Slide lock from Petzl

ASAP® and ASAP® LOCK are slide locks from the well-known Petzl brand. They are designed to facilitate handling during rope climbing. Slide locks, installed on a lifeline, follow the user automatically, whether the user is on an inclined or vertical surface. In case of impact load or sudden acceleration, they lock into the rope and stop the fall. The integrated locking feature of ASAP® LOCK allows the user to lock the device to reduce the potential fall length. The connecting arm reduces the risk of dropping when passing intermediate anchors.

In other words, slide locks stop falls, slipping and uncontrolled descents.

ASAP® and ASAP® LOCK may only be used in conjunction with Petzl fall arrest systems such as ASAP'Sorber AXESS and ASAP'Sorber.

PANTIN® foot ascender from Petzl

The PANTIN® foot ascender is designed for more efficient and less tiring rope climbing. Using a foot ascender allows the body to be held more upright during the climb, which means that long steep climbs are less tiring for the arms and the ascent is faster.

Advantages of the PANTIN® foot ascender:

  • facilitates rope climbing
  • good durability
  • functional and ergonomic
  • also available in a left-footed version.
