It is important to note that the rescue service does not constitute a complete rescue plan. By law, people working at height must have access to a rescue plan where the person to be rescued can be evacuated within 10-15 minutes. Moreover, it can take longer for the emergency services to reach the site, which emphasises the importance of having a well-planned and rapid response plan in place.
