Petzl
It all started in 1930 with Fernand Petzl and his passion for caves, a passion to which he dedicated his talents as a craftsman. His knowledge grew with the design and creation of solutions for travelling in the darkness of caves. The first Fernand Petzl products were produced in 1970 in a factory in Saint-Nazaire-Les-Eymes in south-eastern France. Since then, the Petzl-Founded in 1975, the company has grown into an international business while maintaining the personal touch and passion that drove Fernand Petzl.
