The SPIN pulley from Petzl® is designed for maximum simplicity when it comes to setting up systems of various kinds. Available in 3 different variants. Suitable for rope access, rescue and rigging. The three-step moving side plate is quick and easy, even with gloves. The rope can be installed with the unit connected to the anchor. The block has a red marking that gives a visual warning when the movable side plate is unlocked. Swivel allows the block to be orientated under load. L1 - special side plate design protects the ropeway Optimum efficiency and ease of handling: - large diameter sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings for excellent efficiency - swivel accepts up to three carabiners and allows the use of rope and sling to facilitate manoeuvres. L1D Designed to be used in conjunction with a descender for maximum simplicity when setting up a heavy load descender or pulling system for work at height or rescue: - special side plate design protects the rope path and allows the use of a Prusik friction clutch in an advancement system. Optimal pulling efficiency and lowering comfort: the faceted sheave rotates in one direction only, providing excellent efficiency in pulling and the addition of friction zones for the rope for additional braking when lowering heavy loads. Ease of handling: - swivel accepts up to three carabiners and allows the use of rope and sling to facilitate manoeuvres. L2 - special side plate design protects the ropeway Optimum efficiency: - large diameter sheaves mounted on sealed ball bearings for excellent efficiency. Parallel mounted sheaves and extra attachment point to set up different types of complex pulling systems. Easy handling: - swivel accepts up to three carabiners. - swivel and additional attachment point allow the use of ropes and slings to facilitate manoeuvres.
