Lyon Edge Guard 10cm

EDGE GUARD's clever design is versatile, compact, lightweight and comes from the unique knowledge and experience of the Lyon™ Equipment team. Made entirely from polished stainless steel with rope-friendly contact surfaces, its angled shapes on the end plates and bearing surfaces are there to make the best use of the forces created when a rope is loaded. When used on edges, the four triangular 'teeth' on the end plates grip the edge. The more rope pressure applied to the EDGE GUARD, the tighter it locks onto the edge, reducing its potential for movement. The Edge Guard can be used with ropes that have a diameter of 9 to 13.5 mm. It is not intended for use with wire rope. It should not be used if the expected load on the rope exceeds 250kg.
