SCOOP® EXL is undoubtedly the most popular immobilisation product. It can be scooped and immobilised. The unique TSL lock that never hangs, the soft cupping and its ergonomic handle make Scoop® EXL superior. Scoop® EXL can be used in X-ray, CT and inside MRI examination rooms. Scoop® EXL has scientific support for increased comfort and better fixation compared to backboard. Scoop® EXL has a clear opening on the back for palpation and visual examination of the neck and back. This opening can also be used to cut clothes in a fixed position and enables the use of the stretcher's 4-point belt during transport. Scoop® EXL can be split in width but also folded lengthwise, making it flexible for storage. Over 500 Scoop® EXL systems have been delivered to Swedish ambulances.
