Petzl FOOTAPE – adjustable foot loop for rope ascents
The Petzl FOOTAPE is an adjustable foot loop used in conjunction with Petzl ASCENSION or BASIC when ascending a rope. The foot loop provides support for the foot, allowing the user to use their legs during the ascent and thus climb the rope efficiently.
Easy to slip on
The strap under the foot is hard-wearing and slightly stiff, which helps the foot loop retain its shape and makes it easier to position your foot inside it. An adjustable elastic strap keeps the foot in place and can be adapted to suit different types of shoes.
Quick length adjustment
FOOTAPE features a DoubleBack buckle that allows you to quickly and easily adjust the length of the foot strap. It attaches directly to Petzl ASCENSION or BASIC and is used as part of the system when ascending a rope.
