Petzl GO – oval steel quick-release link
The Petzl GO is an oval steel quick link used to connect components in fall arrest and rope systems. The oval shape provides a symmetrical design that is suitable for connections where the equipment needs to be securely fastened together. The GO has a diameter of 7 mm and is fitted with a threaded locking sleeve that is screwed shut to secure the quick-release link.
For connections that are to remain in place
Unlike a standard carbine, a quick-release coupling is particularly suitable for connections that do not need to be opened and closed regularly.
The threaded locking mechanism makes GO a suitable option for couplings where the equipment is to remain connected whilst in use. The locking sleeve must be correctly closed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure the quick-release coupling can be used safely.
Sturdy construction
The Petzl GO is made of steel and has a breaking strength of 25 kN along the main axis and 10 kN along the transverse axis.
The opening is 16 mm, which allows for the connection of compatible components.
Weighing 60 grams, the GO is a compact quick-release fastener for use in various types of equipment systems.
