Petzl DELTA – triangular steel quick link
The Petzl DELTA is a triangular steel quick-link for connecting equipment. Its triangular shape provides a stable connection and is designed to distribute the load across the quick-link’s various connection points.
This version of DELTA has a diameter of 8 millimetres and is fitted with a positioning bracket for Petzl CROLL. The strap helps to keep the CROLL in the correct position on the harness and restricts the movement of the rope clamp along the quick-release link.
DELTA has a threaded locking sleeve and is what is known as a quick-release coupling. It is therefore well suited to connections that are normally intended to remain fitted, rather than to situations where the coupling needs to be opened and closed frequently whilst working.
This 8 mm version with a positioning bracket weighs 95 g, has a crime rate of 27 kN along the main axis and 10 kN along the transverse axis, and an opening at 10 mm.
