ASAP® is a slide lock from Petzl® that is most often used as a backup tool when working in Rope access. It stops a fall, slip or uncontrolled descent. ASAP® is very user-friendly, it runs easily on the rope at all angles and locks only in case of emergency. It is easy to install on the rope. If ASAP® is used as a personal fall arrest device, it should be combined with a fall arrester, e.g. Petzl® ABSORBICA. For semi-static rope (EN 1891 type A) with a diameter between 10.5-13mm. Weight: 290 g + carabiner (77 g) = 367g. Standard: CE EN 353-2
