Petzl COEUR PULSE – a removable and reusable anchor
The Petzl COEUR PULSE is a removable stainless steel anchor that can be fitted and removed without tools. Unlike a permanently fixed anchor, the COEUR PULSE can therefore be taken away and reused once the work is complete.
This version is designed for 12 mm drill holes with a drilling depth of 65 mm.
COEUR PULSE features a manual screw lock that reduces the risk of the anchor coming loose accidentally. The locking knob is designed to be easy to operate even when the user is wearing gloves.
Rotating mounting eyelet
The large attachment loop makes it easy to attach a carabiner and can accommodate two carabiners at the same time. The loop’s thickness and rounded edges also help to reduce wear and tear on the carabiners. Once the anchor is installed, the attachment loop can rotate. When subjected to a lateral load, it can therefore align itself with the direction of pull from the attached carabiner and the system.
For installation in concrete
The anchor’s strength depends on the substrate. Petzl specifies a shear strength of over 25 kN in 50 MPa concrete and a pull-out strength of over 20 kN for the COEUR PULSE 12 mm.
For 25 MPa concrete, the shear strength is specified as 25 kN and the tensile strength as 20 kN.
Installation and use must always be carried out in accordance with Petzl’s instructions, taking into account the surface and the complete fall protection system.
