Petzl LIFT – lifting sling for vertical descent
The Petzl LIFT is a lifting sling used to keep the user in an upright position whilst being lowered. It is particularly useful for rescue, evacuation and work in confined spaces where the person’s position needs to be controlled during the descent.
For vertical lowering
LIFT creates a gap between the harness’s attachment points and the suspension point above the user. The design helps to keep the body upright during the descent, which can make it easier when a person needs to be moved through, for example, narrow openings.
This makes LIFT particularly useful during rescue operations where the person needs to be kept in a stable, upright position during evacuation.
Compatibility
LIFT is used with a full-body harness certified to EN 361, or alternatively a combination of a seat harness and a chest harness which, when used together, comply with EN 361.
